Sutliff RL-PR Blend

RL-PR Blend is Sutliff's cube-cut straight burley product. The letters "PR" in its name refer to the plum and rum extracts used in the blend; it contains no perique. The leaf is pressed and cut into cubes, lightly cased with plum, molasses, and rum extracts.

The taste proceeds on a nutty, creamy base, carrying a light cocoa-like sweetness and a tart edge from the plum casing. The casing is measured, so it reads more as a cased classic American burley than as a true aromatic. It suits smokers who enjoy a plain, traditional burley smoke and are looking for the slow burn a cube cut gives.
