Meermin

Meermin is a Dutch Blend Tabac Benden prepared drawing on the Dutch tobacco tradition. The blend's starting point is the Dutch method of maturing Cavendish through resting rather than obtaining it quickly with steam and heat: the tobaccos are pressed and stored for a while in large, square cake form, then re-cut just before packaging.

This method brings out the leaf's own sweetness without needing a heavy external casing; the smoke is soft, low in nicotine, and rounded. A dark Cavendish tone proceeds together with Virginia sweetness. It suits smokers who want to steer clear of heavily flavored tobaccos yet still look for a soft, sweet smoke.
