Silk Road

Silk Road is a five-component mixture from Tabac Benden bearing the signature of Koppe-based blender Thomas Nitsche: Virginia, Burley, Kentucky, Oriental, and Perique are used together. The product is offered as a crumbly cake the smoker can slice for themselves; color variations across the reddish-brown surface hint at the blend's components.

On the smoke, Oriental spice comes first, followed by Burley's nutty base and Kentucky's grassy-smoky tone; Virginia provides measured sweetness, while Perique lends a peppery, fruity background.
