Dark Holler

Dark Holler is a pressed American blend that The Country Squire releases in small batches. Burley, Virginia, black cavendish, and Louisiana perique are brought together, pressed under weight, and aged. The blend is said to have been created by Quinn Crawford.

The generous perique and the pressing give the blend an intense flavor profile: alongside vanilla, almond, coconut, and cane sugar, notes of bittersweet chocolate, dark fruit, anise, and spiced blackberry come through. The body is full and the sweetness measured, without harshness. It is aimed at experienced smokers looking for a pressed, richly sweet burley-perique profile. Being produced in limited quantities, it is not consistently available.
