Faulkner Flake

Faulkner Flake is The Country Squire tobacconist's unflavored flake blend, named for Mississippi author William Faulkner. It is made from natural Virginia, burley, and Oriental leaf, aged and then cut into soft, crumbly flakes.

The Virginia lends the blend grassy notes and light sugary sweetness, the burley gives a nutty, earthy body, and the Oriental adds dry spice and an incense-like tone. With no casing, the flavor comes entirely from the balance of the leaves. The soft cut makes the flake easy to rub out for packing.
