Lighthouse Keeper is one of The Country Squire's lightly flavored house blends. Grassy, lightly citrusy Virginia, nutty burley, perique contributing plum and spice, and black cavendish carrying brown-sugar sweetness are combined; a measured maple and vanilla top note is applied over them.
The flavoring doesn't overwhelm the leaf, so the blend sits somewhere between an aromatic and a natural mixture. The burn is cool and even, leaves little moisture in the bowl, and needs relighting only rarely. Nicotine is light to medium. It suits those looking for a subtly flavored, balanced everyday blend.
