Vanilla Fudge is a house blend in The Tobacco Barn's light aromatics group. A Cavendish-forward body is joined by some fire-cured leaf; as the name suggests, the casing is built on an intense, creamy vanilla, and this consistency gives the blend its "fudge," or soft-candy, association.
Nicotine is light, and the casing is distinctly prominent on the palate. Suited to smokers after aromatics centered on a sweet top note rather than the leaf's own taste; it may read as too sweet for those used to unflavored Virginia or Latakia blends. As with high-moisture aromatics, smoking it slowly and in moderation reduces the sensation of tongue bite.
