Thomson & Porteous is a Scottish tobacco company founded in Edinburgh, known in the early twentieth century for tobaccos such as Luntin and Scots Cake. The Drifter name is known from the firm's roll tobaccos; since no source documenting this navy cut variety's composition has been found, the record is left incomplete.
