City Line No. 3 is one of the blends Dan Tobacco Manufacturing in Lauenburg prepares for Hamburg's Timm pipe shops. Loosened Virginia flake at roughly a third of the mix is added to broad-cut golden Virginia, along with dark black Cavendish; Yucatán honey and grape flavoring are cased on top.
The taste is full and sweet, moderate in nicotine. As with moist aromatics, large, wide-bowled pipes are recommended for a slow, cool burn. Suited to those new to aromatic tobaccos and to smokers after honey-fruit sweetness in a tobacco for regular smoking.
