Virginia Blend

Tobacconist Reserve Virginia Blend is an unflavored Virginia blend prepared by pressing and slicing aged red Virginia leaves sourced from three separate continents. It is tinned as a crumble cake; the smoker crumbles off a slice by hand and prepares it to the fullness desired.

The red Virginia weight gives the blend a dark, bready, lightly fruity sweetness; rather than the sharp acidity of bright Virginia blends, a rounder, deeper taste line comes forward. Because the pressed structure gives a slow, cool burn, it suits smokers accustomed to unflavored Virginia and willing to work with sliced tobacco. It was distributed in 1.75-ounce tins.
