Black Cavendish English Type

Torben Dansk is the first brand German tobacco house Dan Pipe released under its own name; the name carries on the legacy of the venture that brought Danish pipes to Germany in the 1970s. Black Cavendish English Type represents the unflavored black-Cavendish wing of this line, called the "English type."

In the blend, pressed and aged, high-sugar Virginia leaves are combined with black Cavendish; the sweetness comes not from an external casing but from the leaf's own sugar. The cut is broad, long ribbon, giving the smoker freedom to pack tight or loose. The smoke is creamy, medium-bodied, and carries light floral and spicy notes; suited to those after an unflavored but sweet Cavendish and to smokers moving from aromatics toward natural tobacco. Distributed in 50-gram tins and 250-gram economy packs.
