Burley

Torben Dansk Burley is a member of the brand's single-varietal blending-component line. It consists of unflavored Burley leaf; it is described as carrying grassy, earthy and nutty notes together with a light sweetness reminiscent of milk chocolate. It is a broad ribbon cut and burns dry.

Burley is a leaf with more pronounced nicotine than Virginia and lower sugar; because of this it smokes plain and full, with little tendency to bite the tongue. Suited to home blenders wanting to add body and a carrier base to their blend, and to those after unflavored tobacco.
