Valle Crucis

Valle Crucis is the member of the Two Friends line classed as an aromatic English. Turkish Latakia is blended with ripe red Virginia leaves; Oriental leaf and a pinch of light flue-cured leaf are added on top, and Perique and black Cavendish also appear in the composition. It is presented ribbon cut.

While Latakia smoke sets the blend's frame, Virginia sweetness and the Oriental leaf's dry spice settle within that frame; a lingering sweetness and a soft spicy edge remain on the palate. Nicotine and flavor intensity stay in the medium range, and the room note is more reserved than typical English blends. A profile for smokers who don't find Latakia blends too heavy but want the smoke kept measured.
