No. 06 Crusted Blend is a mellow mixture in Vauen's numbered aromatic series. Double-fermented black Cavendish, Virginia from various origins, and Burley are combined in a medium loose cut; the varied cut widths give a cool, even burn.
It takes its name from the crème-brûlée-like crust sweetness cased on top: vanilla, hazelnut and caramelized sugar notes are pronounced. It sits creamy and round on the palate, not built for sharpness or tongue bite. Aimed at fans of sweet aromatics after a low-nicotine evening smoke.
