Lucky Star Mild Granulated

Lucky Star Mild Granulated is one of Von Eicken's American-style mixtures. Its weight comes from granulated (cube-cut) Burley, joined by a smaller amount of shag-cut Virginia. It was sold in 50- and 100-gram tins and is no longer in production.

The granulated Burley burns slow and cool, giving a nutty, dry taste; the Virginia leaves a light sweetness behind it. True to the "mild" in its name, nicotine is kept low. A record worth noting for smokers curious about how cube-cut tobacco burns, or after mild Burley mixtures.
