Private Club Vanilla

Private Club Vanilla is a blend in German producer Joh. von Eicken's light aromatic line. Its base is soft black Cavendish obtained by fermenting sweet Brazilian Virginia; this is joined by bright Zimbabwean Virginia, and the mixture is flavored with vanilla extract.

Because the vanilla dosing is kept measured, the sweetness does not overpower the leaf; the blend offers a low-nicotine smoke with little bite on the tongue. This makes it an all-day aromatic, appealing to smokers who don't expect heavy syrupy sweetness from an aromatic but haven't moved to unflavored tobacco either. The ribbon cut makes for easy lighting and burning; records note that Von Eicken blends are sensitive to moisture balance, so storage conditions noticeably affect the smoke.
