2017 Craftmans Edition

2017 Craftmans Edition is the year's entry in W.Ø. Larsen's Craftsmans Edition series, in which a separate blend is prepared each year, offered here in a 3.5-ounce tin. The blend is built on Virginias, Burley, and twice-fermented black cavendish.

Part of the tobaccos are pressed, rested, and then rubbed out; this structure, combining ribbon cut with rubbed-out flake, gives a softer burn. In flavoring, vanilla and caramel establish Larsen's known sweet line, and a warm almond note added on top gives the blend a creamy side and a pronounced room note. It's light in nicotine. This is a release aimed at smokers who love sweet Danish-style aromatics and want a low-strength blend suitable for all-day smoking.
