Craftmans Edition

Craftmans Edition is W.Ø. Larsen's annual release series referencing the Danish pipe tobacco tradition dating to 1864; a separate blend is prepared for each year and offered in numbered tins. The series' common line is a medium-bodied aromatic structure built on Virginia, Burley, and fermented black cavendish.

Part of the tobaccos are pressed, rested, and then rubbed out; this preparation, combining ribbon cut with rubbed-out flake, gives a slower, more even burn. In flavoring, vanilla and caramel establish Larsen's known sweet signature, while nutty notes like almond add creamy depth. Nicotine level is light.
