Danish Choice

Danish Choice is among W.Ø. Larsen's aromatic blends, said to be based on an old company recipe. Its foundation is mature Virginia tobaccos; black cavendish is added to soften the body, and the mixture is flavored with coffee and a small amount of chocolate.

While the flavoring intensity is pronounced, the smoke stays soft with limited impact on the tongue. The coffee note is the taste that comes forward throughout the smoke, with chocolate sitting behind it as a subtle layer; according to records, a note reminiscent of malt whisky also appears toward the end of the bowl when smoked slowly.
