W.Ø. Larsen Virginia Flowers is one of the blends from the Copenhagen-based Larsen name carrying on the Danish aromatic tradition. Its composition includes Virginia, Burley, and black cavendish leaves, prepared in a loose, broad cut. A light caramel-leaning casing is applied on top, so the tin gives off a sweet scent when opened. The brand originates from Denmark, not Ireland or Germany; today its products are prepared under the Scandinavian Tobacco Group umbrella.
It's a blend that stays very light in nicotine; the flavor also runs mainly on Virginia sweetness and cavendish softness, with Burley filling out the body a little. The casing level is measured, not intense enough to leave a sugary film in the mouth. It suits those newly moving toward the aromatic side or seeking a light, all-day-sustainable tobacco; those who favor strong, tobacco-focused blends may find it too plain.
