LIPC Dehavilind

LIPC Dehavilind is a club blend Wilke Pipe Tobacco prepared for the Long Island Pipe Club, said to be based on an old Wilke recipe. Its construction fits what's called the American-English line: the smoky backbone of English mixtures combined with the body of American Burley.

The composition includes selected Cyprian Latakia, cube-cut white Burley, Virginia, and a small amount of creamy sweet black cavendish. The cube-cut Burley burns slowly and cool, building a nutty, earthy base; Latakia adds a layer of soot and wood; Virginia provides balancing sweetness, and cavendish a soft edge. Body is medium. It suits smokers who love smoky mixtures but want a Burley-forward, evenly burning structure.
