Vengeur Platinum Blend

Vengeur Platinum Blend is the version of Daughters & Ryan's Vengeur line with a higher proportion of light-colored (gold leaf) Virginia. Per the maker's own marketing, the blend uses no chemical flavoring; its character comes entirely from leaf selection. Its composition is flue-cured golden Virginia, Burley, and Oriental leaf, ribbon cut.

On the smoke, a grassy, sharp, lemony Virginia base sits underneath nutty, earthy Burley with a light cocoa lean, and Oriental adds spice and a light smokiness in the background. Body is medium, flavor intensity high. Suited to those who like unflavored American mixtures and want blends where Virginia sweetness is balanced by Burley's earthiness. It reads sweeter than the Regular version in the same line.
