Best Brown Flake

Best Brown Flake is an unflavored flake made solely from hand-selected, hot-air-cured Virginia leaves. The leaves are first pressed into a block, then put through a steam press; the combination of heat and pressure turns the leaf a dark brown and matures the flavor.

The result is a deep, nutty, naturally sweet smoke carrying grass, bread, and earth echoes. Since no moisture-retaining agent is used at the Kendal factory and moisture level varies with climate conditions, the flakes coming out of the tin may need airing. One of the go-to blends for those seeking unflavored Virginia character.
