Old Nellie Pipes is the brand of Joe Nelson, a carpenter, luthier, and pipe maker working in the Fond du Lac area of Wisconsin. The precision he brings from guitar making shows in his clean lines and mother-of-pearl inlay signature.
Old Pal
A French pipe brand stamped on the shank with a bird figure with wings spread; the maker cannot be firmly established, though it is linked to Marechal, Ruchon & Cie., the owner of GBD.
Oldenkott
Rooted in an 18th-century Dutch tobacco dynasty, Oldenkott made pipes in the town of Rees in the Lower Rhine from 1932 to 1992 and was for a time considered Germany's largest pipe factory.
